Wednesday 09/05/08 - Kinkaku-Ji

Rokuon-Ji or Kinkaku-Ji (Temple of the Golden Pavillion) has to be the most lavish of the temples and shrines we have visited so far! It is coated in over 20Kg of gold and on a clear day it is reflected perfectly in the still waters of its surrounding lake.
