We rest our weary legs and rain soaked heads in the local Starbucks.
It is here, due to our first real language barrier mishap that we have the misfortune of trying our first (and last) Matcha Latte Tea...
Essentially a hideous combination of green tea with loads of milk whipped together. Consider this a warning, stick to the normal green teas!
After brief break from all that walking, we venture out on another evening with Phil and GiGi. First stop is "What the Dickens" in Ebisu followed by a tavern in Meguro.
Thankfully no transvestites this time but there was a live japanese band that went from playing a relatively funky/rock version of Massive Attack's Unfinished Sympathy... to completely unbearable combination of instruments, fit for Hitchcock soundtrack!
