No time to hang around for wedding cake. ;-p
I'm on a mission today to find Mike and Nicky Place's (http://www.wearebuild.com)"think glocal" exhibition in the uber trendy Omontesando Hills shopping district.
A couple of hours and a lot of windows shopping in expensive boutiques later, I discover my objective.
The staff at "The North Face" are kind enough to let me take some photos for Mike and Nicky and send their fondest regards from Japan... I found the gallery comments book of particular interest! There is some creative stuff in there as well as hanging on the walls!

Sunday 23/03/08 - Yoyogi Koen and Meiji Jingu
The weather at Yoyogi Koen is much better than the last time I visited it.
(Readers with long memories will remember a distinctly damper set of photos from last year)
Pretty fortunate really as it allowed two Shinto weddings to take place undisturbed...
we'll except for all the crowds of somewhat voyeuristic tourists taking snaps (myself included)
I don't know who these folks are but I sincerely wish them well for the future,
it was a beautiful ceremony to behold and I hope we (the tourists) didn't ruin it for you!
Omedetto Gozaimasu!

Saturday 22/03/08 - Shinjuku Gyoen
According to the Sakurazensen (Sakura Forecast), The Cherry blossom season is about a week or so away, but already the Hanami (Flower Viewing) is well under way as these Ume(Plum) blossoms begin drawing the crowds at Shinjuku-Gyoen.
Hopefully this means the Sakura(Cherry) blossoms can't be too far behind.
